This was made by the Peerless or Toledo Cooker Company, It is a Miniature 5 1/2' tall replica of their Steam Cooker" This Sample consists of nine very detailed Tin and copper pieces that disassemble and assemble just like the Larger Steam cookers they sold. It measures 5 1/2" tall and water spout, steam vents, soldered chamber and lid handles, and folding wire bail handle on bucket and tin food trays. Each tin tray increase in size and rest on different rims inside chambers. These style cookers allowed you to cook multiple things at once and the boiler would even whistle when it is running low on water. The bottom has a water chamber and a tray where you would place a large roast, chicken turkey or ham. Each tray would then hold and stack, vegetables Onions, Custard, Potatoes, etc, as you fill the chamber with trays. It was advertised as being efficient with the ability to cook a whole meal on one burner or fire. It's design reduces ones Fuel Bills in half. It is in awesome condition for its age. There is some slight corrosion and wear on some trays and inside chamber. There are no broken or cracked pieces.
